Because we all love free things...
With our hectic schedules, we often have limited time for ourselves. Here are six daily habits that won't take up too much of your time.
Let's go.
Tip #1 - Move
on a daily basis!
I could discuss the positive benefits of moving your body, but I’ll park that one because we’ve all been here before.
Walk, Run, Cycle, Swim, Lift, Yoga, Pilates, Tennis, ANYTHING. Just do it.
Tip #2 - Breathe
Sounds obvious I know
Most of us breathe the wrong way (who knew?), but taking time out of your day to focus on your breath can improve blood flow, focus, stress levels and even warm or cool us down.
Try this: Inhale 4 secs - Hold 4 secs - Exhale 4 secs - Hold 4 secs - REPEAT
Tip #3 - Sleep
Try to sleep and wake at the same time each day, or at least 90% of the time. Your brain and body loves a routine, especially a positive one. Thank me later.

Tip #4 - Limit Screen Time
Especially before bed and first thing in the morning (try 20 mins and aim to increase to 45!)
Coming away from bright lights and devices that keep your brain active allows your circadian rhythm to adjust better.
Tip #5 - Challenge your brain
Brush your teeth with the other hand, memorise phone numbers, read books, play board games, do word searches or sudokus.
The more we continue to challenge our brains the healthier they will remain.
Tip #6 - Get outside
As well as nature being great for your mental wellbeing, exposure to light (especially first light) can positively affect your ability to sleep.
Stay grounded. Nature is a beautiful thing.
Simple.
