What affects Ab visibility?



- Body Fat

Less body fat = More visibility

Calorie deficit = Less body fat


- Genetics

Each person holds less/more body fat in certain areas and has a completely different anatomy. Some will have a more defined set of abs than others regardless of efforts.


- Type of training

Resistance training is 100% necessary for developing hypertrophy, this means including compound lifts (e.g. Squats & Deadlifts). If you do not have the muscle in the first place, how can it be visible?
